The Interview has brought in more than $15 million during their opening weekend for domestic digital sales. In addition, the film also generated $1 million for independent movie theaters.

Read our review of The Interview.

Yesterday, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Franco held a Twitter live tweet session. We asked 4 questions and were ignored each time. The ironic part is we asked an important question about the financial gross of the film.

Before the live Q & A there was no reported data on how much the film had grossed. We sent the question out at 2:16 p.m. CST. After we asked the question, the data hit the Web moments later.

The irony behind this is that the question we asked is the headline for multiple news outlets that overlook our level of importance as an entertainment media outlet. This is additionally ironic in connection to the side plot of the film. Large name media outlets just follow what the indie outlets are doing more often these days.
