The Soul Revue Stirs it Up at Fools Paradise

The Chris Robinson Brotherhood will be heading on tour this year with a new bassist after five years with Mark “Muddy” Dutton. The band shared thoughts on Dutton moving forward.

“It has been a great adventure. I wish my brothers a long and beautiful journey, as I leave with pride and fond memories,” says Dutton. “I’m looking forward to the rise of The CRB as they continue to bring the old world to the new.”

Robinson adds: “It’s been a great 5 years. We wish Muddy all the best in his future.”

The Brotherhood will welcome Austin, TX-based bassist George Reiff. He previously recorded and toured with Robinson in New Earth Mud from 2004 through 2006. Reiff is set to fill in throughout the month of April.

CRB will be featuring a Soul Revue at the Fool’s Paradise event coming up on Saturday, April 2.

This special live set will combine the talents of Chris Robinson, George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville, Eric Krasno, Neal Casal, Nikki Glaspie, and The Shady Horns live on stage. Several New Orleans musicians will merge together in a soulful live setting in St. Augustine, Florida.

Later in April, the tour will connect Moe. in Portland and Seattle for two shows. They will also be performing once again at the Mountain Jam Festival and many more concerts over 2016. Scan over their live dates, and preview their music via Mountain Jam on YouTube.
