Jason Isbell, The Wailers + 25 Artists Added to the Summer Camp Music Festival

Break Science, Hard Working Americans, Floorwood at #SCamp16

The Summer Camp Music Festival is hosting their 16th annual event with Jason Isbell, Hard Working Americans (featuring members of Widespread Panic), The Wailers and a diverse lineup in Chillicothe, Illinois on May 27-29.

Summer Camp has noted that today is your last chance to buy your 3-Day GA Ticket at the current price level. Prices will increase by another $15 at midnight tonight. Currently tickets are running $221.50 after taxes right now. That includes camping, but not late night shows in the Red Barn. Overall, it is a good ticket price for the density of the lineup with the price of camping included.

This year the festival is hosting over +110 acts, and features one of the largest lineups in the music festival circuit. Three Sisters Park is home to the festival, and provides shaded camping for thousands of guests.

Join the volunteer team, and make a difference. I was on the 2006 Wakarusa street team. It helped me find out more on how the festival worked, and gave me the chance to network with other people. Being a volunteer is important and fulfilling in a lot of ways.

Summer Camp is constantly on Snapchat. They seem to be effective on the platform. I don’t take it seriously, probably never will, no matter the user base numbers. My suggestion is to use YouTube, and have access to video content at a later time. If you are a fan ephemeral content, check out their Snapchat. It reminds me too much of Dubstep that Chicago Farmer killed off in 2012.
