The White House Tackles Climate Change with SXSL

South by South Lawn, also known as SXSL, was held at The White House in Washington D.C. on October 3, 2016.

“We are very proud of the work we have been able to do over last eight years here in the United States. Doubling fuel efficiency standards on cars. Really ramping up our investment in clean energy. So, we’ve doubled the production of clean enegy since I came into office. We have increased wind power three fold. We have increased the production of solar power thrity fold.” – President Barack Obama

SXSL helped bridge politicians and the public to breakdown the carbon pollution, environment and political issues.

In addition to the thoughtful discussion featuring President Obama and Leonardo Dicaprio, Common stopped by The White House with NPR Tiny Desk Concert.
