More Than 155 Tons Recycled/Reused from Bonnaroo 2016

The Bonnaroo Music Festival has just released their 2016 Sustainability Report covering their efforts to reduce, reuse and recycle.

One of the unique and environmental-based concepts to the Bonnaroo Music Festival is the Solar Stage that is completely run on solar power.

Clean Vibes helps coordinate tons of recycling each year at Bonnaroo. In 2016 they collected 155.1 tons of recycling, 347.18 tons diverted from landfill, and 536.22 tons of food waste recovered.

Festival organizers have noted that a dollar from every ticket goes directly to sustainability efforts. One of the programs that they have been focusing on is reducing waste water with Vac Toilets. These toilets help save on water, and reduce the carbon footprint overall.
