Germany is one of the more progressive countries with a larger population that aims to produce 80 percent of their energy via renewable energy by 2050.

In the National Geographic video below on YouTube, they note in October 2015 that Germany generated close to 27 percent of the power from renewable energy.

Recently, Indy 100 reported that Germany had ran on 64 percent renewable energy for an entire day on April 30.

Along with Germany, India has also made developments with renewable energy, and has recently been moved up to the second most desirable country for renewable energy following their recent investments in solar power.
