The Sundance Film Festival has announced select films that will be screened at the 2016 event in Salt Lake City, Park City and nearby cities in Utah.

These nine films showcase established directors with a passion for cinema. Rob Zombie, Kevin Smith and a long list of talented actors make up the first round of film announcements for the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.

The festival takes place January 21-31 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.
