Admission Film Preview
Focus Features is back with two of the funniest comedians from the past decade, Tina Fey and Paul Rudd to celebrate the release of Admission. The story is based on the novel by Jean Hanff Korelitz. Screenplay is by Karen Croner. Directed by Paul Weitz. Produced by Paul Weitz, Kerry Kohansky-Roberts and Andrew Miano.
The story overviews the application process for many college hopefuls. There is an underlying message behind the acceptance in this film. Students are reviewed and studied in similar patterns that can be found in searching for a mate. This movie goes beyond pulling in a young demographic with the main storyline to pull in a older demographic as well with singles that find love later in life. A key point to make about this pattern is that it is becoming a larger trend with the use of the Internet. (New York Times article web link.)
Comedy is a large reason to go see this movie. Rudd and Fey are comical machines that gracefully pull in laughs throughout the films. Admission is now out in theaters, and will be featured for home viewing soon. Browse the trailers and photos below, and use the links to check out their page for additional information.
