Lotus & The Werks barreled through Pittsburgh on Friday, January 23. They performed at Stage AE to a delighted crowd of youthful souls. This show marked the second show for Lotus on their 2015 Spring tour.

The first show of the tour was held at State College, PA, and was a packed house. The band dropped ‘Tarot’ for the first time at the 1/22 show.

As the band rolled into their second night of the tour; they traveled to Pittsburgh to perform with The Werks for this show. The northeast crowd responds well to Lotus and The Werks. Both bands have developed their sound and audience. It is a thrill to see how they tweak their art each time they perform live.

The drum solo by Rob Chafin, drummer for The Werks, within ‘Find Your Way’ is passionate and emotional driven. It solos segues into their last song, but sucked me in like a black hole. The Werks also joined Lotus the following evening on their tour.

Nicholas Hess, photographer for Crescent Vale, was on hand for this show and was able to grab some beautiful imagery. Stream The Werks live set, scroll through photos by Hess, skim over the setlist and more with our review from Stage AE.
