The Hangout Music Festival hosts several breakthrough acts each year. We scan the lineup and handpick the most raw and uncut talent from the bunch. This year, Elle King has stepped to the table with a royal flush.

King’s tour dates has the group down to perform at the Hangout Music Festival on Friday, May 15. (That could be due to it being the first day of the event, but it normally stands for the date the band will perform.)
Her work continues to evolve in Alternative Rock. Her grit and finesse are two pieces of her style that stand out.
‘Love Stuff’ is the title to her debut album. Elle King, U.S. singer, songwriter, follows her self-titled EP in 2014. Collaborating with the likes of Mark Ronson, Jacknife Lee, Eg White, and Jeff Bhasker, King delivers a selection of blues- and rock & roll-inspired pop tracks. The single “Ex’s & Oh’s” is included.
Mark Ronson has been on fire for the past decade, and has helped put a professional touch to her work.
King has the raw talent that is bursting at the seams. This powder keg group is set to perform at the Hangout Music Festival coming up this May.
