Pokey LaFarge is taking the world on a backroad drive this year with heartwarming acoustic soul music.
Terry Gross sat down with Pokey recently to pick his brain about his latest album Something in the Water with NPR and Fresh Air. Listen in to the conversation, as well as a live performance.
LaFarge and Gross discuss the inner workings of putting together Something in the Water.
The 12-track album was produced by Jimmy Sutton and released on April 7 via Rounder Records.
