Ty Taylor is the lead singer for the band known as Vintage Trouble or often times just called VT.

VT includes 3 other members: Nalle Colt (guitarist), Rick Barrio Dill (Bass) and Richard Danielson (Drums) rounds out their cast of characters that invokes the spirit of New Orleans with their ultra blues heavy inspired funk.

The band has a unique wardrobe style that hearkens to an older generation of fashion. With their carnaby jackets, vests and brightly colored ties they have emerged upon the fashion scene in a unique style that is reminiscent of the sixties.

The band’s website has them schedule to perform at:

The band originally formed in Hollywood, California in 2010 and have released one album, “The bomb Shelter Sessions (2011)”.

VT is swarming with possibilities with their legendary manager, Doc McGhee, who has had a place in history with managing acts such as Motley Crue, Kiss, and James Brown. As you discover the soul, passion, funk, rhythmic orchestra of sounds produced by VT you can feel the heavy influence of those bands mentioned above in their eclectic style.

VT has been gaining momentum since their debut in 2010 with appearances ranging from the tonight show with Jay Leno (2013) to a Honda Tv commercial (2014) spotlighting their song “Today is Pretty Great”. VT’s poised to have another tremendous break year with the right megaphone, and a launchpad that makes space shuttles envious.

VT’s touring schedule for May has everything that a promising youthful funk band could ask for. On the radar is the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 2nd and then the venue that promises great weather, eager fans, and a staff that treats you like family.

The Hangout Music festival has beautiful sandy beaches, tropical weather and some of the most beautiful fans across the country. To truly get a sense of the atmosphere that Hangout creates each year. Join the annual bash at the beach with good people.
