X Games 2015 comes to Austin, Texas June 4-7. Scope out the athletes, musicians and equipment on set for X Games.

The extreme sporting universe will be joined in Austin by Metallica, Nicki Manaj, Talib Kewli, Kid Ink, Joywave, Pennywise and many more acts to entertain the X Games crowd in June 2015.

Tony Hawk speaks with James Hetfield about the parallels between music and extreme sports at Metallica’s HQ in San Francisco, California in advance of their X Games Austin performance June 6.

The Sound Factory Stage is going to be stacked with top tier music during the first week of June, at the same time, professional extreme athletes will be showcasing their skills on the MBX dirt track, Moto X ramp, in the Marvel X Parks and much more events and spots to check out in downtown Austin.

Guests will have the opportunity to check out live events taking place on the Rally Car racetrack. They will be able to watch breath-taking moments during the Skateboard Vert Final on Friday, June 5 from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. EST.

The interactivity continues with a Skype Q & A featuring Jamie Bestwick and Curren Caples. Share a question or share a trick for some real pro feedback.


X Games Map


In addition to extreme sports, music and culture, Major League Gaming will be hosting competitions for X Games gold for virtual competitors.

The X Games MegaRamp. This ramp has a 88-foot-high-drop-in ramp, a 50-foot-gap, and completed with a 20-foot-high drop into a vert ramp to finish the run. Professioanl BMX and skateboard daredevils will take big risks on the MegaRamp at X Games.
