Progressive minds trailblaze the clean energy movement

Data covering clean energy across the United States.

2015 is a year of major change for ideology in energy consumption and production. Electric cars are pushing out the aging method of using fossil fuels within the automotive industry.

Consumers now have the ability to connect to power being released by natural resources. Solar and wind power is leading the pack for renewable energy, but technology within biomass and hydropower is making strong advancements for those living in areas with less wind and sun.

Toyota, Tesla and other car companies are racing to produce a cost efficient electric car for consumers. As Tesla is powered with Solar City, it creates a platform for consumers to start drawing solar energy to power their homes and cars.

Donald Sadoway goes over the missing links in the clean energy movement with TED Talks. His discussion is only three years old, and is going over the revolutions taking place today. In connection to his dialogue, the Toyota video covers their plans to maximize their energy production process.

“We need to think about the problem differently. We need to think big. We need to think cheap.” – David Sadoway

Reader Supported News has put together a poll to see what people think is the state that produces the most renewable energy.

Users can vote on which state they believe has the biggest footprint in the right direction for curbing the carbon emissions being released into the atmosphere, as well as connect with energy.gov to find out the results.

Find out which states lead in the clean energy movement.
