Amazon announced today that Prime members in the U.S. and U.K. will now have access to even more great music with popular and award-winning Universal Music Group artists that are now available for unlimited listening on Prime Music.

A long list of music labels hold a spot within UMG including: Interscope Geffen A&M, Motown Records and EMI. Out of the big three major record labels, UMG is the largest compared to Sony Music Group and Warner Music Group.

This marks another big step for content production with Amazon Prime. Currently they are the only major content provider that not only lets consumers stream ad-free content, but also allows them to download the content for offline viewing.

Consumers will need to start working with more external hard drives to get around data gouging cellphone companies. Amazon Web Services needs to continue expanding their cellphone and Internet service. They are one of the few companies that want to give the consumers options to save money on viewing content, in comparison to other major tech companies that price gouge the consumers as much as possible.
