Major Lazer has just released an extended cut of Peace Is The Mission. The five additional tracks continue to flood the market with the hottest electronic dance music in the world. Currently, ‘Lean On Me’ is the most streamed song in the history of Spotify.

The back story behind Major Lazer showcases a dancehall-inspired project comprised of Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire fronted by fictional Jamaican ex-commando, Major Lazer. Peace Is The Mission marks the group’s third album following Guns Don’t Kill People…Lazers Do and Free The Universe. 

The collection of musicians generated around Major Lazer has now grown into an international voice in the music industry. After collecting several awards, the group continues to impress audiences all over the globe.

“Major Lazer is just a group of friends who all came together years ago,” says Diplo of the album. “This album is a learning process for us—trying to make new things, making new friends and going for a bolder sound. The only rule we have is nothing was off limits to make this album. We hope you like it.”
