The Revivalists, New Orleans-based alternative rock and songwriters are returning to the Hangout Music Festival in 2016. The band formed in 2007, and has toured around the globe since their inception.

After a strong showing in 2013, the festival is bringing back the band to showcase their talent live on stage.

2013 marked the first time I experienced The Revivalists perform live. Watch the video below. Their live set is engaging and takes guests on a roller coaster from start to finish. The Crescent City all-stars will be heading back to the beach to showoff their latest music from Men Amongst Mountains.

The band released two independent releases including: 2010’s Vital Signs and 2014’s City of Sound. This year The Revivalists produced their third full-length album, Men Amongst Mountains on Wind-Up Records.

The group will be celebrating NYE in Atlanta at Buckhead Theatre with Stokeswood and WRENN.

Make sure to stop by The Revivalists live set at Hangout Fest 2016. This is a must-see concert at the upcoming festival in Gulf Shores.

“The title sums up our collective feeling,” says Shaw. “We started to find ourselves on festival bills with our idols and in front of huge crowds. We thought, ‘We’re amongst these giants, but we’re holding our own.’ We felt like we stood up and met the challenge by simply being who we are as The Revivalists.”

“I’d love for it to take you away into the mood we felt when the song was actually created. I hope you can feel the general vibe of a song and have it be an escape—whether you’re listening to it at home or in the crowd at a show.” – David Shaw, vocalist The Revivalists
