The festival has also announced that Miguel PoWow, a superjam production will be making a mark at the 2016 event. After success at Bonnaroo Music Festival for organizing unique live jam sessions on stage, Okeechobee is bringing the jam to the southeast.

“With PoWoW!, we’re cooking up an historic concert, the kind where you don’t know who is going to walk out on stage or what will happen next,” says Peck. “Miguel is a supreme talent and we’re working closely with him to defy and exceed all expectations. The idea is to create a show that we personally want to experience together with fans at Okeechobee. We’re going to invite fans to submit their ideas for PoWow! to us on Facebook and Twitter, and if we use an idea, we’re going to hook up those fans in a cool way.”
