On Friday, January 29 Lotus will kick off their 2016 tour in their hometown of Philadelphia at the Electric Factory. Nugs.tv is set to stream the live performance.
Lotus will be staying busy in February with concerts in New York City, Boston, Richmond, Atlanta and St. Louis. The band will be playing at Mainstage Morgantown on 2/16, as well over 20 shows in the month of February.
In addition, Lotus has also just been announced to perform at the Mountain Music Fest in June.
The Mountain Music Fest is a a two day camping music festival at New River Gorge in Minden, West Virginia. Yesterday the festival announced several bands from their 2016 lineup featuring: Galactic, Dumpstaphunk and Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band. Crossover funk music will be the main focus this year. Each of the recently added bands share a modern jazz-funk fusion sound to their music.
Lotus will also be sharing the stage at the Okeechobee Music Festival in Florida during the start of March. Scan over their 2016 tour dates, and stream their latest track Basin to Benin featuring the Soul Rebels on YouTube.
