Tennessee’s Late Night Entertainment with Big Grams

Bonnaroo 2016 has just released their late night performers, and have added Bryson Tiller and Bob Moses to the late night lineup.

The late night performers this year include: Superjam, (most likely featuring members from Lettuce, not official, but they will probably be booked) Big Grams, featuring Big Boi and Phantogram, Tame Impala, The Chainsmokers, Adventure Club, Purity Ring, ZEDS DEAD, Miguel, Blood Orange, RL Grime, Bryson Tiller and Bob Moses.

When I first look at the late night performers, and lineup in general, I see a lot of acts that have not been on the festival circuit very long. A piece of me wants to discredit their work, and push the artists with more years of working experience. That is one way of looking at a half empty glass. Another way of looking at the lineup is finding new acts to enjoy.

In 2015, I covered the event, and held several interviews. One of the acts I talked with was ODESZA. Before the festival, I had never heard of them, and could have just as easily discredited their work. If you look at how they have exploded onto the music scene in the past two years; it is a great thing to see a band use Bonnaroo as a launchpad for their careers. I like trying out music, products and items before I knock them. A live show can be totally different than studio recorded music.

The festival has also announced they will be holding a live Q & A with X Ambassadors on Monday, April 4 online. (I hate Facebook, please do these on Twitter.) They will also be premiering their video ‘Unsteady’ this Friday, April 1.
