The film will stream in full online for the first time ever today, April 21, at 2:00 p.m. ET via http://florenceandthemachine.net/, followed by a live Facebook Q&A with Florence and Haycock at 3:00 p.m. ET, also hosted by Rojas.

The video collection for The Odyssey was made to pair with Welch’s How Big How Blue How Beautiful. Scan over the videos in this YouTube Playlist. I found that Chapter 1 gave more context in comparison to the other chapters. The idea to parallel audio/musical storytelling with visual storytelling is an art form that creates depth for an artist.

The Odyssey, like the epic poem by Homer, is a journey. It’s Florence’s personal journey to find herself again after the emotional storm of a heartbreak.” – Vincent Haycock

Florence and the Machine will be touring across the United States this summer. She will be headlining the Hangout Music Festival Sunday, May 22.

“This is the finale of a very personal project that came from a conversation me and Vince had in the Chateau Marmont about a year and a half ago while I was writing How Big How Blue How Beautiful,”says Florence Welch.
