Dan Deacon, Suuns, Prince Rama, Sky-Pony Perform at Murmuration 2016
St. Louis is hosting a new multicultural event called Murmuration, and it will be held on September 23-25.
The music lineup this year includes: Flying Lotus, Tycho, Deerhoof, and Yacht. Additionally performing at the Cortex Innovation Community includes: Dan Deacon, Suuns, Prince Rama, Sky-Pony, and local artists ICE and Yowie.
This multicultural event will also provide thought leader sessions on virtual reality, robotics, creativity, big data, and much more. The Thought Series features Mark Hatch of TechShop, Dr. Atyia Martin of the City of Boston, Steve Cousins of Savioke, and Calum Pearson of Cirque Du Soleil.

Murmuration is for everyone and includes areas that do not require tickets and are free to attend:
- Friday@Murmuration is an exciting and unique kick-off to the festival that lets attendees explore St. Louis’ culture and art communities.
- Maker Expo is a diverse showcase of makers, artists & organizations who create amazing things in celebration of the do-it-yourself spirit.
- STL Innovation Showcase will feature technologies from regional startups that will change the way we live, work and play.
- Art@Murmuration is a public art exhibition and competition that will transform the Cortex campus into an art space.
- Future Innovators Zone is an amazing, thought-bending area designed specifically for families where the young and young at heart can explore engaging and interactive exhibits, including the opportunity to join the St. Louis Science Center and its Active Creativity partners to build a large-scale Rube Goldberg-style machine.
- Eats@Murmuration will feed our thousands of fans and feature many of the city’s premier restaurants, all nestled within the beautiful Cortex Commons park.
