Vertex Festival 2016 Explodes with +40 Live Acts

In its inaugural year, Vertex Festival may be one of the most dynamic summer festivals to hit Colorado. Vertex brings together a diverse blend of artists, a pristine setting, art installations and field trips.

In addition, the lineup of talented musicians, one thing that sets Vertex apart from other festivals this summer is the location.

Nestled at the feet of the Collegiate Peaks, which soar to over 14,000 feet, mountain views are a guarantee. In fact, Chaffee County in which Buena Vista sits, is home to 12 of Colorado’s 53 fourteeners.  With nearly 300 days of sun per year and famed hot, sunny, summer days, attendees will be delighted to take a dip in Cottonwood Creek, which runs directly through the festival grounds.

For those eager to explore the area, Vertex 2016 has arranged a variety of field trips sure to please everybody. Adventurous festival goers can choose between whitewater rafting down the Arkansas River or hiking in the nearby ghost town of Hancock.
