Chart Topping Music Hits Chicago for Lollapalooza 2016

Major Lazer latest track, ‘Cold Water’ featuring Justin Bieber and MØ, reached #1 in 68 countries following its release last Friday.

‘Cold Water,’ was written and produced with the help from Benny Blanco and Ed Sheeran, is out now available via Mad Decent/Def Jam.

“When I heard ‘Cold Water’ for the first time I actually got very emotional—it was one of those songs that just hit you immediately and I knew from that moment that I would jump into a volcano to be a part of that record (and I actually recorded my parts in Iceland so a volcano dive was not far from realistic),” says MØ. “One thing is the songwriting being exquisite, but that combined with Major Lazer’s unique sound is to me a match made in music heaven.”

Major Lazer is currently touring around the globe including headlining sets at Lollapalooza, Outside Lands and many more festivals. The group is also working on new music. Scan over the tour dates below.

Stream ‘Cold Water’ and experience in a live setting this weekend at Lollapalooza in Chicago, and later in Austin for ACL Festival 2016.
