Emotional-Driven Lyrics Mixed with Downtempo Percussion
Nataly Dawn’s latest video for ‘Call Your Love’ has recently been released in preparation for her upcoming album Haze due out October 29.
“I called the album Haze because that was my general state when I was writing these songs,” she says, “It’s that feeling of ‘walking around in a haze.’ The uncertainty that comes when a chapter of your life ends abruptly, and you’re not quite sure what’s happened. It also relates to the idea of being hazed: put through some strange and often cruel rite of passage.” – Nataly Dawn
Dawn has made a name for herself working with the duo Pomplamoose. Their songs and videos have generated close to 115 million views on YouTube with over 450,000 subscribers to their YouTube channel.
A forward-thinking element to Nataly Dawn’s approach to producing music is her collaborative efforts on YouTube, as well as Patreon. The overall experience can see a deeper level of engagement when producers take an active role in production with the consumers.
This album shares Dawn’s West Coast roots with music production taking place at Sonoma’s Prairie Sun Studios in Southern California.
