SXSW is amping up and releasing the first wave of keynote speakers, and live entertainment set to take the stage in downtown Austin.
Early adopters will head to various venues March 10-19, 2017 to experience new forms of communication, technology and entertainment. Browse over the SXSW 2017 timeline.
Jennifer Doudna, Jill Soloway, and Director Lee Daniels have been announced in the first wave of speakers at SXSW 2017.
SXSW has noted an exceptional interactive session known as Development & Code:
Product Mavericks: Top Tips From Women Who Build (Development & Code Track) – From leading video on Facebook to the CTO for the first woman presidential candidate, there’s no question that there are a group of female leaders taking over in the space of product development and they’ve without a doubt made it to the top. Hear from the women who are defying the numbers, building the products we’re all using each and every day, and are both figuratively and physically shaping our future. Speakers include: Fidji Simo(Facebook), Tali Rapaport (Lyft), Stephanie Hannon (Hillary for America), and Merci Grace (Slack).
The festival engages audience members to learn more in their field. If you are more technology-orientated, dive more into the Interactive section of the festival. Some guests might be more connected to film or music. Think about how you spend your free time, or a skill set that you want to build upon. Use that motivation to learn more about that field of creative work at SXSW 2017.
