The 8 piece Austin band known as Brownout will be releasing Brownout Presents Brown Sabbath, Vol. II with Ubiquity Records on October 28.

“It’s fucking awesome, this fucking Mexican guy sounds just like me.” Ozzy Osbourne

Following their release of volume on in 2014, this project continues to push the boundaries from the music to the heavy rock band Black Sabbath.

“When we recorded Volume I, we had only played a couple of live shows, and it was a very new thing,” explains guitarist Adrian Quesad

The band performed at the 2015 Bonnaroo Music Festival. We spoke with Greg Gonzalez, bassist in Brownout before the event in an interview. Their live performances create a distinct energy that embodies the raw energy from the ’70s and ’80s hard rock scene.

They will be performing two shows in Austin this month. Browse over their tour dates.
