A Big Win in Morgantown

The Werks returned to Morgantown, West Virginia on Saturday, December 3. The band performed at Mainstage Morgantown and brought their action-packed rock to the Applicahan Mountains.

Nicholas Hess was on hand to capture the concert with photography. He mentioned that the group played one hell of a show. Hess felt the vibes in the audience from the people that had been celebrating following a WVU football game against Baylor.

Rob Chafin, drummer for The Werks, provided insight on how the show went in Morgantown.

“What an amazing weekend, thanks again Indianapolis and Morgantown, best crowd response ever!! And on top of it all, the Buckeyes make the CFB playoffs and there was a major victory at Standing Rock!!” – Rob Chafin

The band was able to capitalize on that high energy with their smash-mouth rock. When I listen to their latest live material, it produces a thought in my head of Umphrey’s McGee passing the torch to them one day for the heaviest hitting live rock band.

Chris Houser, guitarist for The Werks, noted on Facebook via The Werkers Union group:
