Gem and Jam Festival, being held February 2 – 5 in Tucson, AZ, may have a new venue, but it hasn’t strayed far from its roots. The festival started out as an afterparty for the internationally renowned Tucson Gem and Mineral Show and blossomed into an event capable of standing on its own.

This year the festival will be held at the Pima County Fairgrounds, a 640 acre venue in the desert south of Tucson, and will offer camping for the first time to provide a truly immersive experience. However, to ensure festival goers don’t miss out on any of the action at the Gem and Mineral show, Gem and Jam will be offering shuttle service daily into downtown Tucson and will be dropping off attendees in a location convenient to the show.

The Tucson Gem and Mineral show has been called the World’s Greatest Treasure Hunt, so bring your rock box and a little spending money and you may just walk away with a treasure of your own. You don’t even have to get behind the wheel to get there.
