Coors Light is set to host the Indy 500 Snake Pit event on May 28, 2017. Zedd, Marshmello, RL Grime, Action Bronson, Adventure Club, and The Trap House are scheduled to perform during the one day electronic dance music festival.

The music will feature some of the hottest EDM producers on the globe. In contrast to the music, the entertainment will also host one of the best performers on the microphone.

One the most exciting elements to this event is that Ric Flair is scheduled to be the guest emcee. For those unfamiliar with Ric Flair, the festival organizers put together this excerpt:

‘Ric Flair is a celebrity and professional wrestler. Also known as the “Nature Boy®,” Flair is among the most famous and well-known wrestlers in the world, and has been one of wrestling’s biggest stars since the late 1970s. Flair was often popular with the crowd due to his in-ring antics, including rule breaking (earning him the distinction of being “the dirtiest player in the game”), his cocky interview style, strutting and his shouting of “WOOOOO!™” The “WOOOOO!” yell has since become a tribute to Flair, and is often shouted by the crowd whenever they see Ric or when another a wrestler performs one of Flair’s signature moves. A Facebook and Twitter favorite, YouTube sensation, and whose name returns almost 4 million Google hits in under .2 seconds, Ric Flair is an international icon.’

Music fans may not fully appreciate the entertainment value that the real 16-time world champion brings to the event, but I do. I also appreciate that Coors Light thought outside the box to pick an emcee. Recently, John Cena tied Ric Flair’s all time record last night at the Royal Rumble for the most wins as world champion. For professional fans, we all know Ric is one of the all time greatest, he no longer needs a streak or record to own his place in history. John Cena on the other hand, still has a lot of work to do, despite winning a few titles so far.
