Béla Fleck's Latest Album, Juno Concerto Now Available

Béla Fleck is working at a fever pitch this year with releasing a new record, Juno Concerto, as well as scheduling tour dates with The Flecktones.

The Flecktones feature Future Man on drums, Victor Wooten on bass and Jeff Coffin on saxophone. He has performed on several of their albums, but he doesn’t play full time with the band on the road.

The band has been scheduled to perform at the 2017 Newport Jazz Festival in Rhode Island on August 4. Currently, their time for this event has not been confirmed yet. That being said, it is one of the longest running music festivals in the country, and holds an interesting history.

Chick Corea will be supporting on dates this summer. He will be performing live solo, and with the Elektric Band.

During performances with Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, they have a wide range of music they can display to audiences.

Béla Fleck recently released an album, Juno Concerto, in collaboration with the Colorado Symphony, as well as two tracks with Brooklyn Rider string quartet. Edgar Meyer make an appearance on a previously unrecorded track titled ‘Quintet for Banjo and Strings.’
