Hannah Grant Delivers a High Octane Diet for Athletes

Amazon Studios have made plans to move forward with an original program that highlights the dietary goals for athletes that compete on the Tour de France.

The Amazon Original Series is a documentary series about the international athletes competing in the 104th Tour de France. Hannah Grant works with the cyclists to help manage and maintain a healthy and sustainable diet.

“Hannah Grant is a world-class chef who has dedicated her career to fueling some of the world’s most incredible athletes, operating under impossible conditions to create cuisine that is gourmet and that also fuels performance.” – Conrad Riggs, Head of Unscripted, Amazon Originals

The series also is inspired by Grant’s recent cookbook The Grand Tour Cookbook. The 350-pages provide introductory recipes featuring ingredients that are allergy friendly, natural, and unprocessed foods.

“It’s a rare gift to find a powerful new story angle into a world and event as big as the Tour de France. It’s the unprecedented intersection of sports, travel, and food.” – Executive Producer Christof Bove

Watch over a 2013 clip of Grant going over some of the dietary options and planning that she managers for the cyclists.
