Hulu Plans to Deliver Live TV with Amazon Web Services

Gear Up for the Hulu Live TV Launch in May 2017

Hulu is partnering with Amazon Web Services to provide a live television platform for their users.

In the Amazon Web Services Keynote from their recent New York event, Hulu describes their role with AWS. Start the clip at the 18:10 minute mark on YouTube for the recent developments from Hulu.

Large-scale tech companies have the revenue to invest in the server technology with AWS. Overall, server technology and security continues to be one of the largest growing fields in technology.

Hulu joins a growing list of media companies and broadcasters running their media supply chains and OTT delivery pipelines on AWS, including: Amazon Video, AOLBBC, Channel 4, C-SPAN, Daily Voice, Discovery Communications, Flipboard, GoProGuardian News & MediaHearst Corporation, LIONSGATE, NDTV, NetflixNews International, News UK, Newsweek, PBS, Simfy Africa, Sony DADC, SoundCloud, SpotifyTime Inc., and United Daily News.
