“I know that a lot of young ladies’ struggle within themselves sometimes, and I just wanted to write a song and put a little light on that to let everyone know they are not on their own.” - Niall Horan

Niall Horan threw his album release party this past Friday at iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles for his latest project Flicker.

Guests were able to soak in the new music, as well as find out more about the makeup of Horan.

“I knew what I wanted it to sound like musically and then the lyrics came afterwards. I’m not used to writing songs of that style. To be honest, not many people my age are used to doing that because it is a unique sound from many decades ago. I think that’s why it stood out on the charts. While writing you can tell the different between a good and a bad song, and I knew this song was different, but no way did I think it would take the life that it has over the last 30 weeks. It’s grown into a monster… It’s been a wild year for me because of that song.” – Niall Horan
