Producer Chris Funk Added Texture to the Album

The Ben Miller Band returns to the music scene with Choke Cherry Tree via New West Records on January 26.

This band stems from hardships, and delivers a genuine touch of Delta Blues mixed with alternative country.

Hard driving guitar riffs fuel the core of this band, as well as the old school rock sound from Missouri. Ben Miller expands upon the latest material.

“Early in the process of making this album, I thought that we either had to really nail our live approach in the recording studio, or we needed to forget about that and just work on capturing the songs in an inventive way that presents them in their best light. We decided on the latter approach, and we never looked back.” – Ben Miller

The band will tour this year to help support the album. Live concerts include a hometown show in Joplin, Missouri. Additional shows include: Nashville, Brooklyn, Indianapolis, Chicago, Louisville and Cincinnati.
