The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has just dropped their 2018 lineup featuring over 100 live music acts set to perform in Manchester, Tennessee from June 7-10.

Bonnaroo is produced Superfly Presents and AC Entertainment. They hold a four-day music festival on a 700-acre farm in the rolling hills of Tennessee.

The lineup release has become a national event that is discussed around the clock on inforoo.com.

We have been fortunate enough to be able to attend Bonnaroo in 2002, 2003, 2009, 2010, and cover the event in 2015. The lineup this year is strong overall. It has a wide selection of different genres of music that different demographics can get into during the early portion of the summer.

The main reason I love this festival so much is the community and the people that makeup the event. I often feel rejected from society for thinking independently, but at Bonnaroo, it is welcomed. People are more into the kind of person you are rather than the resources you have obtained.

When I look back at my time at the festival, the best moments that I can remember is getting to spend time with my friends and family. The music on stage is very important to me, but the time shared with one another is the glue that keeps us together.

Some old school people like myself, request that the Bonnaroo lineup bring back the bands that made them successful. I see their point, as well as the demand for breakthrough bands on the rise today. I do believe that Bonnaroo makes an effort to bridge the music across a wide array of demographics to attempt to put on the best festival possible.

This year they listened to their audience and brought back the Kalliope Stage. It is a sign of the progressive nature that the festival organizers are doing their best to accommodate the needs of their attendees.
