A Mental and Physical Exercise

EarthlyEatingNutrition is currently hosting a series of Chakradance events in downtown Denver.

It marked my first time attending a Chakradance. I was pleasantly surprised with the results mentally and physically.

Jessica Yoches recently obtained certification to run Chakradance classes, and I was interested to see what the experience was like overall.

The location of the event is in the Santa Fe district of Denver. It started at 8:00 p.m. and was a relaxing way for me to work on mediation.

We started with an introduction, and an overview of the class. After getting to know each other a little bit, we did some stretching, turned the lights down low, and began the Chakradance.

The experience provided me a chance to get a mental workout in during my busy day. With the class being later in the evening, it helped my mind relax and absorb the directions from Jessica.

I focused on my different chakras and opened myself up to the new experience. After going to mental and physical therapy, I started to realize that you get out what you put into the meeting.

Jessica provided excellent instruction to guide the class during the meditation process.

Later we reviewed our personal experience as a group. It was interesting how another person in the class had a similar mental breakthrough that I had as well. We both noticed visions during the dance that connected our third eye to our spirit.

One of the biggest and most important realizations that took place for myself was the healthy way of treating stress an anxiety. Personally, I put a large amount of pressure and stress on myself regarding work. The class marked the first time where I allowed myself to let go of the pressure I put on myself concerning work. For decades I have used stress and constant pressure as a form of motivation. After the class was over, I realized that pressure is not needed to complete my tasks for work, but rather a healthy form of motivation in connection to a thought-out routine.

Overall, I found the Chakradance to be a healthy way to workout on my mentally and physically. The YouTube video below can be used during sleep and rest.
