Debut Single ‘Kings March’ Now Available to Stream

Soulive returns to the music industry with new music titled Cinematics, Vol. 1 on their own label Soulive Music.

The first volume will feature five tracks, but the band has been working on a large amount of material from Alan Evans’ studio Iron Wax in late 2017.

Take a look at a series of quotes from guitarist Eric Krasno, drummer Alan Evans on the upcoming album.

“A cinematic piece of music creates a mood. Film composers like Jerry Goldsmith, David Axelrod, Ennio Morricone and Melvin Van Peebles were all influential in the concept for ‘Cinematics.'” – Eric Krasno

“It all unfolded as we were working on it; one song influences the direction of the next, and soon you find yourself going down this path. We want this music to take people on a little journey.” – Alan Evans

“We made this record top to bottom in two daysand put it out about a month later, while it’s still fresh from being created.” – Eric Krasno
