Denver and Fort Collins Both Rank in the Top Twenty for Most Polluted Cities by the American Lung Association

In 2016, the State of the Air report listed Denver and Fort Collins in the top ten cities for most polluted areas.

The current statistics point a positive trend for the mile high city, but there is still progress to be made in limiting carbon emissions that can damage the ozone.

A majority of the reports and ozone warnings on the road direct drivers to limit their time driving on the road and carpool when possible.

It has been more of an occurrence during the warmer months, and Denver residents are directed to avoid extensive workouts that might impact the cardiovascular system.
