Spoiler Alert, Sweet Cow Ice Cream is on the Menu at Grandoozy

In their first year of production, Grandoozy has estimated close to 40,000 daily attendees for the event. It will resemble the Hangout Music Festival, but take place in the rolling hills of Denver.

Grandoozy will bring one of the first large-scale multidimensional festivals to a golf course just south of Denver at Overland Park this September 14-16.

My best piece of advice is to use the I-25 and Broadway Station in downtown Denver to access the festival. You can use the shuttle, grab an Uber, or walk 20 minutes.

The music lineup is impressive and diverse with a wide collection of different genres. Acts this year range from GRAMMY award winners, to up-and-coming artists.

In addition to the music at Grandoozy, the festival is also serving up some of the best food in Denver.

Food and Beverages at Grandoozy

The festival has put additional effort into collecting the hottest culinary talent and providing them a large-scale stage for guests to interact with industry leaders.

  • Carrie Baird, a contestant on Top Chef Season 15, will be present at the event. Watch the trailer for Season 15 featuring the Colorado landscape.
  • Biju Thomas, author, cyclist, chef and owner of Biju’s Little Curry Shop will be on hand.
  • Craft brew curation will be presented by Steve Kurowski. For guests over 21, they can taste test Colorado brews during the festival.

Two local chains will be present that I have grown to love including Sweet Cow Ice Cream and Illegal Pete’s.

Live Music at Grandoozy

AMZY, a Denver-based pop/rock group, will be performing on Friday at Grandoozy. The band has shared with us that they will be dropping a new single during the performance, as well as attempting to break a Guinness World Record during their set.

Dive Bar Sessions Presented by Bud Light

Each city usually has a dive bar, and Bud Light will be recreating that atmosphere at the festival. This area will tend to be less intense and more inviting to relax at in between acts.
