A Celebration to Honor Phil Lesh’s 80th Birthday at Oak Ridge Farm

The LOCKN Music Festival has just dropped their 2020 lineup with three nights of live music celebrating Phil Lesh and his creativity.

Phil Lesh continuously celebrates the act of improvisational music at the venue known as Terrapin Crossroads. The LOCKN Music Festival organizers took the onstage collaboration spirit from that venue and expanded it for the festival lineup this year in honor of Lesh’s 80th birthday.

Thousands of live music enthusiasts will join together in Arrington, Virginia from June 19-21. Peace, love, and music will kickoff the new decade with the festival moving their dates to being in June in comparison to late August/early September.

The festival is hosting two nights of the Phil Lesh Quintet featuring Warren Haynes, Jimmy Herring, Rob Barraco, and John Molo. On Sunday night the festival is having Joe Russo’s Almost Dead combine with Phil Lesh and John Mayer on stage.

Additional acts include: Brandi Carlile, Leon Bridges, Gov’t Mule, Electric Hot Tuna, Oteil and Friends, Railroad Earth with special guest Peter Rowan, MEUTE, the Marcus King Band, BoomBox featuring Backbeat Brass, Grateful Shred, Keller Williams, and several more talented acts.

Currently the festival has a spot that is to be announced. The buzz on social media is pushing for a Widespread Panic addition with Jimmy Herring performing on Friday and Saturday night. It could also be a unique collaboration set of live music.
