Carin León wasn’t just performing at Coachella 2024; he was owning it. The weekend two headliner brought down the house with not only his signature soulful vocals and norteño beats, but also with surprise appearances by country star Kane Brown and legendary Mexican rock band Molotov.

The crowd erupted as León and Brown delivered their hit collaboration, “The One (Pero No Como Yo),” solidifying León’s growing presence in the American country music scene. He then took things further with a high-energy set featuring Molotov, bringing the energy with classic tracks like “Puto,” “Frijolero,” and “Voto Latino.”

This wasn’t León’s only Coachella Valley triumph. Just a day before his mainstage performance, he was presented with the key to the city of Coachella by Mayor Steven Hernandez. Hundreds of fans and residents gathered at the Coachella Library to witness the ceremony and enjoy a special three-song performance by León.

But León’s Coachella dominance doesn’t end there. He’s set to make history next Friday at Stagecoach, becoming the first Spanish-language act to ever perform at both Coachella and Stagecoach. Following his festival appearances, he’ll join The Rolling Stones as the opening act for their Glendale, Arizona show on May 7th.

León’s musical journey continues to impress beyond the festival scene. His recent collaboration with GRAMMY-winning R&B artist Leon Bridges, “It Was Always You (Siempre Fuiste Tú),” is receiving critical acclaim.

Carin León is a rising star, blurring genre lines and breaking down barriers. His Coachella performance is a testament to his talent, charisma, and ability to unite audiences through the power of music. Keep an eye on this groundbreaking artist – he’s just getting started.
