Country music star Lainey Wilson’s highly anticipated new album,  Whirlwind, has arrived. The 14-track collection, produced by Grammy Award-winner Jay Joyce (Miranda Lambert, Eric Church), arrived last Friday via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville and is available for download or streaming.

Whirlwind follows Wilson’s critically acclaimed 2022 album, Bell Bottom Country, which garnered her a Grammy Award for Best Country Album, along with a string of wins at the ACM Awards and CMA Awards, including Entertainer of the Year at both ceremonies.

This new album promises a fresh chapter in Wilson’s artistry.

“Whirlwind is kind of the Western sister of Bell Bottom Country. Since that album, I’ve grown so much as a songwriter. I’ve experienced new things and met incredible people. This album reflects that growth and a deeper understanding of myself and my purpose.” – Lainey Wilson

The chart-topping single, “Hang Tight Honey,” is currently nearing the top 10 on the Country Airplay chart and continues to climb.

The release of Whirlwind adds to a monumental year for Wilson. In addition to her recent Grammy and ACM/CMA wins, she was inducted into the prestigious Grand Ole Opry and took home two awards at the ACM Honors this week: the Triple Crown Award and the Milestone Award.

Known for her electrifying live shows, Wilson will keep the momentum going with her extensive fall headlining tour,”Country’s Cool Again.” Several tour stops are already sold out, including dates in Los Angeles, Fresno, Lubbock, Alpharetta, Pittsburgh, Oklahoma City, Omaha, and Las Vegas. See the full tour itinerary and details at Lainey Wilson website.

Originally from Baskin, Louisiana, and now a fixture in Nashville, Lainey Wilson is a rising star with global potential.Since her debut in 2016, she’s toured internationally, released critically acclaimed albums, and penned chart-topping hits not only for herself but for artists like Post Malone, Dolly Parton, Luke Combs, and Ashley McBryde.
