Florence + The Machine, UK’s powerhouse rock band, has just released their sixth installment of The Odyssey with Delilah.

This section of the film shows a backlash of emotion that circles around a destructive relationship. It may be entertaining, but I don’t support demonic energy. There is a scene where a demon is standing over Florence in this clip. I also don’t support destructive relationships. In the real world, people need to support one another. Drop the hate, and move to the light.

An interesting element these short films is that the videos are directed by different people. It looks like Welch has a big role in writing these videos, but overall, there are no other international rock stars releasing multiple sections of film to support an album. The idea is creative, but I could see it more appealing if they focused on real life events.

Watch the last three chapters, and catch the entire collection of short films here.

The collection of songs behind the films is connected to Florence + The Machine’s latest album How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful.

“This was one of the first songs Isa and I wrote for this record while we were at Geejam studios in Jamaica,” Welch says of the song. “It’s based on a party we had just been to in Miami, the biblical tale of Samson and Delilah and the agony of the mobile phone in modern relationships.” – Florence Welch
