Travis Scott, Kaskade, Run the Jewels, Banks, Butthole Surfers and +60 Live Acts
The inaugural Day for Night Festival 2016 is being hosted by Free Press Houston and a New York-based creative firm known as Work-Order.
The festival has recently announced the lineup with over 60 live acts performing on multiple stages. Day for Night will be utilizing more than 1.5 million square feet of hybrid indoor-outdoor space at the former Barbara Jordan Post Office on Franklin Street. The massive complex will house three stages. This experiential arts festival will feature digital installations and world-renowned performers.
The 2016 event will be taking place on December 17 and 18 in Houston, Texas.
Day for Night 2016 lineup showcases Aphex Twin, ODESZA, Travis Scott, Kaskade, Björk (unique digital sets), and Run The Jewels as main acts.
This will mark the first United States performance by Aphex Twin since playing Coachella 8 years ago.
Nick Murphy (Chet Faker), Banks, Butthole Surfers, Blood Orange, Little Dragon, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Squarepusher, Blonde Redhead, and Thundercat are set to be on stage.
The talented Kamasi Washington will share the stage, along with Unknown Mortal Orchestra, RZA feat. Stone Mecca Rider, John Carpenter, Washed Out, Ariel Pink, Lightning Bolt, Arca, DJ Windows 98, Oneohtrix Point Never, Liars, Lower Dens, S U R V I V E, Matmos, Clams Casino, Mykki Blanco, Marcel Khalife, Chelsea Wolfe, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, Welcome to Houston, SG Lewis, SOPHIE, Tobacco, Nothing, Soulection, Mary Lattimore and Jeff Zeigler, Fat Tony, Jock Club, Wild Moccasins, Buoyant Spirit, Vacation Eyes, Limb, Hevin, -Us., Jerk, MNYNMS, Maramuresh, Pfaff, Splendid Emblem, Kult Dizney, DIVISION, Night Drive, Josh Dupont, From Beyond and Futurelix.
