Sundance Film Festival 2017 is taking place later this month in the mountains of Utah. The festival has announced two additional film premieres with Newness, and TRUMPED: Inside The Greatest Political Upset of All Time.

In addition to those two films, the festival is set to have dozens of film premieres and interactive content to explore in Park City, Utah.

One of the breakout films within the music realm is Rumble. This documentary is written and directed by Catherine Bainbridge. It covers the connections between Native Americans and music history.

The world premiere will be held on Sunday, January 22 at the Yarrow Hotel Theatre, Park City.

Sundance announced recently that Kenny Loggins will be performing at the event. In addition, opening night at Sundance provides a chance to connect with artists and directors.

The festival has also recently noted:

‘the 2017 Festival will present 120 feature-length films, representing 32 countries and 37 first-time filmmakers, including 20 in competition. These films were selected from 13,782 submissions including 4,068 feature-length films and 8,985 short films. Of the feature film submissions, 2,005 were from the U.S. and  2,063 were international. 103 feature films at the Festival will be world premieres.’
