Major League Soccer Competition between Philadelphia and Denver in Commerce City
Colorado Rapids will compete against the Philadelphia Union this evening in Commerce City, Colorado starting at 7:00 p.m. MST.
The game will be broadcasted with Altitude TV and MLS Live. We will be onsite to cover the action as well.
Altitude will play a major role in the matchup. The Philadelphia Union have been training in high altitude condictions to gear up for the game today. The Union are winless in their last 12 league away matches, and will need as much preparation as possible.
Last week the Colorado Rapids tied Sporting Kansas City 2-2 in their season opener.
The Union has more injured players going into this matchup with two defensive players being on the injured list. Jim Curtain, Head Coach for the Union shared his view on the game today.
“We need to be the team that is on the ball trying to dictate possession, creating chances and again we’ll ask our guys to be as brave as they were at Talen Energy Stadium to be that brave on the road when we go and tackle a tough opponent at altitude and all the things that come along with that.” – Philadelphia Union coach Jim Curtin
