Rising country star Carter Faith is set to release her highly anticipated debut album, Cherry Valley, on October 3 via MCA. The announcement comes with the immediate release of a new song from the LP, “Sex, Drugs and Country Music,” which is available to stream now. Fans can pre-order and pre-save Cherry Valley to secure their copy.
The album, a deeply personal collection of 15 tracks, is a chronicle of Faith’s journey from her North Carolina roots to her life and career in Nashville.
“Cherry Valley means everything to me,” shares Faith. “Every time I have slipped into a dark place (which I have a propensity for), this album has brought me out of it.”
Faith, who has earned a reputation as one of country music’s most promising new voices, spent two years meticulously crafting the album with longtime producer Tofer Brown before entering the studio in 2024. The title, Cherry Valley, is named for a place Faith imagined—a creative “sweet spot” where classic influences like Tammy Wynette and Nancy Sinatra blend with modern country sounds.
The tracklist of Cherry Valley is a chronological and emotional map of Faith’s experiences, moving from breakout successes to heartbreaking splits and newfound loves. The album will include previously released fan favorites “Grudge” and “If I Had Never Lost My Mind…,” which have built significant buzz since her The Aftermath EP last fall, a project that garnered praise from Billboard, The Tennessean, and American Songwriter.
Fresh off her Stagecoach debut and recent tours with Ella Langley and Carly Pearce, Faith will be hitting the road again this summer, joining Little Big Town on select dates. Her tour schedule includes stops in Jackson, WY, Lampasas, TX, and a string of dates with Little Big Town across the country.
