This festival is an expansion for Sundance Next, and continues to create new boundaries for filmmakers to push and bend. Last year, the festival opened with a Napoleon Dynamite screening at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. In 2015, the event returns to the Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. [av_heading heading='The Inner City Blues Shines On At #NEXTFEST' tag='h3' color='' custom_font='' style='' size='' subheading_active='' subheading_size='15' padding='10'][/av_heading] #NEXTFEST will be all over Los Angeles August 7-10 with panels, musical performances, film screenings and moments to be shared in downtown L.A. The Sundance Film Festival staff and crew will be on hand for the monumental first year. We would love to be on hand for the lights, camera and action, but we will probably have to wait to Sundance in January and February to reconnect with our Sundance crew.
