Blackberry Smoke lit up the Chevrolet Stage with their Southern Rock slice of music. Charlie Starr and the group have been winning over audiences nationwide with a recent burst onto the music festival scene. Their set on Sunday afternoon was an excellent way to kickoff the final day at Hangout.

Caked Up opened the action in the Boom Boom Tent. They rocked the early morning hours like a late night show in champion fashion. Le1f hyped up the crowd on the Red Bull stage as Bastille won over the younger audience with his chart-topping hits.

OutKast performed above par to a much waiting and thirsty southern crowd. Big Boi and André 3000 have been relentlessly touring this year on their 20 year reunion tour.

The band performed hits such as: B.O.B., Rosa Parks, Gasoline Dreams, Ms. Jackson, Aquemini, Hey Ya’ll plus many more memorable tracks on the Hangout Stage Sunday evening.

“When we first started rapping we would walk around my aunties table and rap. That’s what this table represents.” – Big Boi

The south is known for its hospitality and the Hangout Festival did not disappoint.  The festival and surrendering areas were always clean and well kept. There were law enforcement serving and protecting and medical staff on standby.  With a fleet of shuttle buses to transport huge crowds from the festival area to their hotels it kept parking easily attainable.

Big Oi and André 3000 may have ended their set early, but they still delivered in a big way. The sold-out crowd cheered for more, but will have to wait for next year before they get another crack at the Hangout lifestyle.
